Yay! This is new. I think the last quiz I took (must have been over a year ago; I think it was when we were in Malaysia) I got Nino. I'm glad to have gotten Ohno! Although, Sho was close, probably because I'm studious. Anyway........I like quizzes :)

Okay, pretty much everyone is saying that this episode is boring, all ageha stuff. Yeah, okay, I'm sick of the weird princess girls with the bad hair, but so far (I'm watching it now; 13 minutes in) it's making me laugh. The gay stylist is cracking me up. He REALLY wants a piece of MatsuJun, and he even made a pass at Aiba! I'm a little jealous...lol.

Okay, but now they've left the stylist behind, so maybe now we'll hit the boring part. I guess I'll just have to contemplate Aiba's hotness when things get slow.... :D

Aiba is Hot (come on, you were thinking it too)

I have one thing to say. Just one. (Edit: so much for just one thing...) Aiba is looking so great lately. Well, okay, as usual, but for a while his hair was kind of annoying me. But now it's grown out just how I like it :D And it looks better when they don't try so hard to make it look neat, like on the One Love cover where it is parted so perfectly and flatly in the middle...I didn't like that. When I was watching HnA 14, I noticed it while he was pouting about not being child minder certified. His hair looked incredibly soft :) and I realized how nice it looks lately, longer in the back, a bit uneven, parted to the side in the front. Ah, Aiba, you make my heart beat faster, as always. Keep smilin', 'kay?

I'm such an Aiba fangirl. I should just claim him as my ichiban. Except I don't want an ichiban, because where would that leave dear Leader? And what of Jun, my Arashi bait and still so precious to me? Sho-chan has been making my heart do strange things lately. And Nino is as charming as always (well, okay, it took me a while to warm up to him--not that I ever disliked him--but I love the guy now). No, I could never declare a favorite. They're all my favorites. Here's what my favorite (personal, somewhat frivolous) things list looks like:

1. Aiba, Jun, Ohno, Sho, Nino

2. Does it matter?

Speaking of adorableness, I'm getting a new puppy XDDD I'm trying to decide on a name, but it's very difficult. The dog we're working on rescuing is an 10 (or so) week old black lab mix with blue eyes (sooooo cute!!!!!). She's in the pound right now, but we've contacted an organization who will hopefully have her out of there by Friday (ahh, it seems like such a long time to be trapped in the pound, the poor baby). I really hope this works out. That little girl deserves a home. And a nice name. I'm a dork and I really want it to be something Arashi-related, but it would be easier if she were a boy (Stormy, Junji, etc.). I've come up with a few ideas (listed in no particular order):

1) Niji (I like the meaning, and it's somewhat appropriate considering her blue eyes, but somehow I'm not sure),

2) Miya (ahaha, I've managed to twist a normal name to suit my purposes through spelling!),

3) Morgan (totally unrelated, but I like this name for her, for some reason), and my favorite...

4) Satoshiko! (I would never subject anyone to a name like this, no matter how much I love Satoshi. It just makes me laugh :D), and then there's also...

5) Shoko (my dad likes this name, surprisingly, although I was completely kidding when I brought it up),

6) Junko (ahh, I really don't like this name for some reason. Plus, throw out all of your knowledge of Japanese pronunciation and look at it like an English-speaker. Junko. Junk-o. No, thank you.),

7) Masako (Not really, no. It seems like a serious Japanese name, which would be rather odd for a dog in my Swiss family. Also, to me anyway, it seems a bit old-fashioned),

Okay, so out of those seven ideas, I really only have 3.5 options: Niji, Miya, Morgan, and Shoko (this one only half counts because I don't think I could name my poor dog Shoko, seriously...).

Ah, but I still have six days to figure it out so it's all good.

This post turned out much longer that I expected. It was originally intended to be a short AIBASOHOT vent, but so much for that.

Fishing manga "Tsurikichi Sanpei" comes to life

Takao Yaguchi's classic fishing manga "Tsurikichi Sanpei" is going the live-action route with a movie coming out next year. It will be directed by Yojiro Takita and written by Ryota Kosawa, with visuals provided by special effects team Shirogumi.

When I saw this up there on Tokyograph, I thought, "A fishing movie! Riidaa must be so excited!" Like how we were so excited when we saw that HYD was getting a movie, Ohno will totally fangirl because of this fishing movie. I know it. It will be so.

Sugery

I got mouth surgery yesterday morning. I was going to write about it yesterday, but I was too woozy (the "happy gas" took a while to wear off). Plus, they gave me these very strong pain pills to take roughly every 3 hours, and they make me dizzy, so I was pretty much out of it all day. I can't do anything for four more days, so.........thankfully I got my region-free DVD player this week and I can watch Arashi on the big screen :D :D (<-- virtual smiles are nice even when I can't do real ones...). So. Pudding is good. Pudding is nice. Pudding is my main food group for now.

In other news...can't wait for Maou hardsubs! I understand a lot of it raw, but it's always nice to have a solid translation. Plus, I don't understand Ohno's formal bengoshi-speak at all.

If there are any weird typos in here, sorry. For some reason, I can't make my fingers hit the right keys. These pills are tooooo strong!

EDIT: I've been laying on the couch all day...in agony. Sure, my mouth hurts, but that's not the problem. I have my big white pills for that. No, the problems is...I'm Maou withdrawal. I've watched the raw five times and now I'm waiting for the subs. Waiting...waiting...I've checked Stormy Team's LJ 20+ times today...tried the d-addicts soft subs but I can't use .ASS files...uuuuuuuuungh. Please, Stormy, release the hardsubs soon. Today, if possible. Or else I might pass out. Really. I might.

MAOU IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! I just finished the first episode, and I love it! Ohno's acting is extremely convincing! I wasn't sure quite what to expect, but so far it is looking to be the best drama I've ever watched. I would write more, but I'm kind of pumped from watching it, so I'm going to go for a jog and calm down.

LOVE IT!

Yay Bobby!!!

Has anyone been watching the swimming Olympic trials? I have--my brother is a swimmer; he's going to USC on a swim scholarship, so my whole family is swim-oriented--and it's so exciting. Okay, so in the 200 fly semifinal, Bobby Bollier finished second in his heat, and he's going into finals seated fourth. I KNOW HIM!!!!!!!! He just graduated from high school this year, and he is so amazing! Although I "know" him, I don't really know him (you know? Like, he swam with my brother so I've watched him swim since he was a little kid, but I never really talked to him), but I'm still super excited. I don't know how he does it; it's just the Bobby fly, I guess. He might make the Olympics. Who knows? If not this year, by 2012 he will definitely grab a spot on the team.

I was a little disappointed with Ryan Lochte's 100 back, though. I really wanted him to win. And he needs to cut his hair. Ah, well, he still has more events to go. Good luck!
